Why isn't HDR putting photo shots together?

hdr not putting photo shots together?

I'm a HDR photo beginner - I just took my first hdr photos - It took the 3 photos but didnt 'put them together' is the best way to describe it. I can see the a, b,c files of each 'photo' but cant open them up in any type of program and see any actual photos. I cant find the answer to my problem anywhere - do you have an answer for this problem?

That's very odd. I've taken a bunch of HDR, and I only get 1 file afterwards, a single JPG with "HDR" at the end of the file name.

Just to be sure:
- you took it in Auto mode
- with HDR set to On, preferably, for testing
- you only hit the shutter-release button once (it will take the 3 exposures automatically)
- you ended up with 3 files, a, b, and c.

What are the file extensions of those files?

Hopefully this will help. The phones camera automatically should combine all 3 images. HDR on phone is similar but different then a regular camera. What is HDR and When Should I Use It In My Photos?

Are you using the lg g4 camera app or another camera app?

Sorry this probably won't help you but here's an example of how the stitching together doesn't always work perfectly. The locomotive was slow-moving, the light good, the shutter presumably fast, HDR on. As you can see, the front wheel and the cylinder casting show a double image....no other parts of the locomotive were affected. G4 camera app.
