Why isn't my Android Auto working?

Android Auto not working

Anyone on this forum have android auto? my phone is on Lollipop (v5.0.1) and should be able to run android auto. however, when i try to install it, it says not compatible. would love to figure this out! any help?

Feedback on the Play Store says this app not comparable with S-4. There will probably be an update to correct this because the S-4 is so popular!

That would be nice! Although I am due for an upgrade soon, so it may be a moot point
