device not showing in android device manager
OK i have a samsung galaxy tab 4 (8" version).
for whatever reason it won't show up in android device manager, even though the device shows up everywhere else.
it shows up in play store device list, it shows up in google account devices (with a recent date/time).
in google settings > security on the device, both the device manager settings are enabled.
play store is connecting to the correct google account and previous purchased apps show up.
play store services are all up to date, everything else is also up to date.
it's brand new device with everything set up from scratch.
so clearly the device is connected to the correct google account, and the google account sees the device everywhere except device manager.
so any idea what is going on and how to fix it?
