Why isn't my Ford Sync receiving texts from my Galaxy S5 anymore?

Ford Sync not receiving texts from Galaxy s5 anymore

starting just over a week ago my Ford Sync (not Ford Touch) stopped receiving texts from my s5. I have tried unpairing and repairing the phone and sync, I get the message to allow acess to my phone book but not for texts (even doubled check that MAP profile was on, it was). Message notification set to on also. I think my phone updated, and that's when the texts stopped working. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my android phone and my Ford F150 Ford Sync. I ended up deleting the phone in the truck / ford sync and then pairing it as new. After that it asked me about text notifications and i get them now.
This too happened to me after an android OS update.

Hmm I'm not getting anything asking about texts when I've deleted and then repaired my phone to sync.

Are you on the current version of sync?
My truck was a new 2014 i got a few months ago and it needed 3 updates to be current.

I have a 2014 as well, I did an update a couple months ago. According to Sync I'm up to date.

Over the weekend mine went back to not getting texts.. So im leaning toward an issue with Sync.
Im using a Nexus 6 on the latest TMO build.
