HTC Desire Front Speaker Not Working

I got the Desire 510 free with a promotion. Several phones were available but I picked this one because of the front speaker. I am older and hard of hearing and now the front speaker does not work. Please help.:'(

Welcome to Android Central! Can you still hear people when you make a regular call? Is it only failing when trying to play sounds over the main speaker, or put a call on speakerphone? It's likely that the speaker is faulty. You should contact either your wireless store or HTC for repair or replacement.
