HTC One M8 not detecting headphones
Ok, hear me out on this...
I have my HTC One M8 and my Sennheiser Urbanite headphones that I have been using every day for over 2 months. One day, the headphones are not being detected by my HTC, just thinks that nothing is plugged in.
- I've confirmed the headphones work by using them on several other devices, no problems.
- I've confirmed the HTC works on every other pair of headphones.
- Using an app, I've forced the phone to pipe all sound through the headphone jack regardless if it detects anything, which works.
From my point of view, seems to be an issue with the phone as the headphones can't be faulted anywhere, the phone can (proved by the fact that if sound if forced through the headphone jack, it works)
I can't exactly walk into a Telstra shop and say that though, doubtful it would be fixed under warranty. Does anyone else have any idea's opinions?
