Why isn't my Moto G (2nd Generation) touch screen responding?

Moto G (2nd Generation) touch screen problems

I've recently bought the new Moto G but after using it for a couple of days I've noticed the touch screen does not always response well.
The problem: from where I touch the screen, the device response as if I was touching it a little bit lower.
For example, in the QWERTY keyboard, if I press "Q", It writes "A"... Or I just can't get to the notification bar.
It's driving me crazy.
I've already do a "wipe cache partition" and a "wipe data factory" but it didn't solve the problem.
I still have KitKat version, may this problem be solved with an OS update??
Did anybody have the same problem?
I've moved from the US right after I got it shipped so I don't have warranty any more.

Since lollipop update it never happened again. Try updating it.
I think it was just a software issue
