Why isn't my Note 2 updating?

Note 2 not updating

I have a Note 2 and it updated the software version to 4.4.2

However my g/f has the same phone on the same network but it says its up to date on version 4.3

Anyone have any ideas why this would be?

Hi Malik, tried it but no good. Any other ideas?

The update is sent out in batches. Her phone might not be in the present batch. (It's to prevent internet congestion by having 100,000 phones trying to update at the same time.)

Hi Rukbat, that what I though it was at first. However, it's been a number of months so I don't think that is the answer.

Have her bring it into the carrier (or the Samsung desk at a Best Buy) and ask them to flash the update.
