Why isn't my Samsung Galaxy 3 10.1 tablet charging?

My Samsung galaxy 3 10.1 tablet will not carge

I have a Samsung galaxy 3 10.1 after changing the battery and trying to charge the new battery all I get is a red x with a note that says the battery is to cold and will not charge. what will it take to start the charging.

Welcome to Android Central! It could be that you installed it incorrectly, that it's a defective battery, or there's something else wrong with the connections or the motherboard.

How long have you left the tablet charging on a wall outlet without trying to power on? Leave it plugged in for at least 4-6 hrs before you try to power on.
