Why isnt my swipe to unlock button working

[AC Question]

So I had a password on my tablet before, then I decided that I would just make it to where you could swipe and it would unlock. However when I pulled up settings, and went to password, it said that I could not use swipe to unlock and it was greyed out. Plz help me.

Welcome to the forums. Have you already tried clearing credentials in the security settings?
