Go to Settings > My device > Home screen mode > Select the mode you want to use > Press Apply. Now you can switch from Standard to Easy mode any time you want!

Have you already tried rebooting your phone or removing the battery?

Just a bit of sarcasm if I may. He might be very lucky that it doesn't work. Just a thought.
