Why isn't my USB or Battery working properly?

im not trying to fix them, how much would it be to get one or both replaced?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Are you saying that the battery isn't charging at all?

im using the htc one m8. i think its my charging port that isnt working, but it doesnt seem to be bent or broken.

You've already tried multiple different charging cables and wall plugs? Any water exposure?
