Why isn't my voice to texting not working on my s9 plus

When I use voice for texting it's not writing it out as a text

Which app and keyboard are you using? Is it sending a voice file instead of transcribing it?

I just talked to a technician from tmobile whom I go thru for a different issue. He mentioned text to speech for s9 not working. I was unaware. Mine is not working also. I think he said Samsung is aware of this issue. My edge panels are not working as well. But that is the first he has heard of my issue. So doing a factory reset to see if that fixes my issue I'm having. Since I saw this I thought I'd share that info with you.
