text message problem

My wife has the Note 4 she is able to text message me. I receive all of her text messages on my galaxy 4, But when I respond to n
her she never receives my messages. Yet on my phone they show as it has gone threw. Any solutions to this problem?

Re: text message problem

I'd say its a network issue. I've seen this problem a lot with different networks. My girlfriend would text me and I'd get it hours later. More common with MMS than SMS. Just a thought. If you are using the standard messaging app, check you call logs and see if that explains anything

Re: text message problem

Another thing to check (I doubt that is the case, but it could have been done by accident), she may have put you on the blocked list. I noticed on the Note 4, that if you press and hold the "main" thread of a conversation as if you want to delete it, another option shows up on the left of the trash can that allow you to block/unblock that person's SMS. Just a thought.

Maybe she is but just ignores them.

Re: text message problem

Maybe not a similar problem, but when I receive messages from a friend and read them, they just disappear suddenly but I didn't have this problem when I use go sms or Google messenger to send/receive sms. I'm thinking this is related to AT&T cloud backup/sync for messages. Do you have it turned on?

Re: text message problem

I have a similar problem as the original post. After trying a few things, I have discovered that when I try to send a text using "Ok Google" the text message will show as sent in my application, but the recipient never receives it. When I send one manually (typed or using the mic) then it is sent and received. This happens with more than one recipient.
I am using an S5 (non-rooted), stock messaging application, latest Google Now applications (verified last night as a part of my troubleshooting).
I also have Android Wear (Moto 360) - however, the problem ocurrs when sending a text from the watch or not. I don't know when it started.

I'm having a similar problem. I accidently blocked my bank's text number, and now I can't unblock it. I followed the unblocking instructions online, but I have no "Spam Filter" selection under Messenger, and Settings. I tried your suggestion, but I don't get that "unblock" icon in the upper right corner. I get a SIM Card (save) and a trash can (delete). Any ideas?:-\

Re: text message problem

Open the phone app. Tap the three dots and choose settings. Select call. Select call rejection. Select auto reject list. From there you can delete the numbers you no longer wish to auto reject. I'm on Verizon if that makes a difference.
