Try using volume+ from the Google play store. Might help with some volume issues.

It's gingerbread only. That kinda rules out the Nexus.

I'm sure they will have an update for 4.0 in fact I downloaded it from the Play shop and works perfectly.

The version of Volume+ that's in the Play Store is pretty old. The developer's website has newer versions available that work fine with ICS.

So imagine how you'd feel if you rooted and flashed a bangalangin' custom ROM & O/C'd Kernel? It's makes the Galaxy Nexus about a million times better & opens up an whole world of mods, customizations themes, tweaks and gives you the ability to always be a step ahead of OTA's. Im also happy with the hardware.[Especially the display) Except for the build quality of the housing. I fixed that problem with carbon fiber ghost armor & a casemate tough.

I've had my GNEX for about a month now, and while I think the screen is gorgeous and ICS is amazing, I can't say it's the best phone I've every used. That title still goes to my EVO 4G. I find that my GNEX is a little laggy at times, and the OS is not as smooth as I would have expected. The keyboard sometimes can't keep up with me, the auto-rotate is embarrassingly slow, and I don't even want to open the can of worms that is the quality of the camera. And the battery life really is just awful. I have yet to see it perform better than my rooted EVO 4G running CM7. Hopefully after I root and put CM9 on it, the performance issues will be alleviated, just waiting for the first stable version to drop.

Yea and Dodge Neons are Better than BMW's. That's the most ridiculous opinion I've ever heard
