Why my gmail account and password not working after resetting my fone?

I reset my fone and it asked me to give recent used gmail account and password but I forgot the password , I went to forgot password but after changing the password it says that I must try in 24hours and, after waiting the 24hrs it gives me the same message to wait 24hrs. There is no option to open a new gmail account.

If you did a FDR and changed your password recently it locks that Google account down for 24 hours. You must wait a full 24 hours (after changing the password) before you can log in. If you change it again within that 24 hours it resets the timer again.

So basically keep the password, wait 24 hours, and then you can get in.
