Android Central Question

Hi!

I recently purchased a 4G LTE phone (Android - 4GB/64GB - Octa-core). I have purchased a 3G data plan on one of the 2 SIMs, which gives good speed.

Now the problem-
Whenever I pass through a "No-Range" area, my mobile data range goes, which is normal. But the abnormal thing is - It does not reappear by itself when I am past that "No-Range" area (i.e. when I am in ranged area). Though the SIM symbol at the top shows full 5-bars range, the net is gone. I have to do a lot of circus - Mobile Data ON/OFF, Wi-Fi ON/OFF, Airplane Mode ON/OFF, Reboot the phone etc. to get it back.

While doing Trial-and-Error, I have noticed that whenever this happens and if I am able to connect to some wi-fi. Then after turning the wi-fi OFF, the net again reappears. Why this peculiar thing?

P.S. - This does not happen when I myself switch the data OFF (say at nights before going to sleep) and then turn it ON in mornings. That time, the mobile data starts easily.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does it have a Smart Network Switch option in the Settings>Mobile Networks or Settings>Wi-fi menu?
