Welcome to Android Central! A carrier-specific phone usually has to be on that carrier's network in order to get the official update. I don't think Smart Switch will help in this case. You could try flashing the firmware using Odin: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html
