Why need screen protector with gorilla glass 3 ??

If these phone come with Gorilla Glass 3, why do we even need to put screen covers on them??

Gorilla Glass 3 is scratch RESISTANT, not proof. The glass will scratch just as any glass will. Get a Zagg Glass protector and enjoy the phone.

i had a s2, s3, and s4 without a screen protector..hardly any scratches...but there are micro scratches that form over time which is visible in only certain angles and bright sunlight

those annoyed me, so i went with the zagg glass this time

Very true. You can scratch gg. Also, if you drop it, it can crack. A tempered glass screen protector can help.

Exactly why I bought my Zagg Glass. Also...resale value. The better condition the phone is, the more I will get for it.

Gorrila glass 1,2,3 and 4 will all scratch. However, with that being said, it takes a lot to scratch gorilla glass. It does scratch and break but it is harder and more durable than aluminosilicate glass
