Why no gallery

[AC Question]

I recently upgraded to Asus Iconia 8 after my last one stopped connecting to wifi, it seems to be a downgrade unfortunately. I use it for videos n pictures but can't see where the pics/videos go once taken. There is no gallery app. Why would this be and anyone know where everything goes?
Also, any way to upgrade the camera as it's terrible or attach some camera externally?

The common place for the pictures and videos from the camera is in the "dcim" folder on the internal storage.

If you need a picture viewer app, I recommend "piktures" by Diune:

The camera is what the camera is. You can try some different camera apps, but that probably will not improve the images from the camera.
