Why no integration?

A couple of questions;
Why is there no option to create a meeting,call,task right from a contacts' card? I can see their email, texts, and call history but why no association within the calendar and contacts?

Why doesn't a calender entry associate itself with a contact in my phone? My palm phones did. Is this an Android/Google limitation or a software development issue?

Does e-mobile do this? The app store's description says so but user comments are not so kind.

its a software limitation in the android calender program, I'm looking (not very hard) to do what you are doing for my work email, but i haven't begun that search. guess I should and post back.
