Still no Nexus 6 OTA update. Pathetic Google. Pathetic.
Same boat here - got my N6 from the Google store, I'm on AT&T, just got the security update. I thought the N6 would be the first to get OTA updates. I want my Marshmallow!

Weeeeeeellllllllllllllll, at least we're grousing about this in early October instead of November for a change. That's somethin'.

After getting 6.0 on my Nexus 5 yesterday I don't care if I ever get it on my Nexus 6! I just don't see anything that blows my skirt up. :)

Kinda wanted *Dark Themes* but it's not there. :(

I read there's no home screen rotation? Kind of disappointed on that one. I was looking forward to it.

I have an unlocked Nexus 6 that I bought at Best Buy with no carrier.& I am on AT&T. I want to know how this works. If the phone is unlocked do you get the OTA update to marshmallow directly from Google? Do I have to keep my mobile data on to get it from AT&T?

My thinking is the hold up's related to VoLTE certification for the 6P and 5X as much as it a test of the N6 6.0 build. Everyone who has flashed the 6.0 image has claimed that T-Mo's WiFi Calling works fine but that things get fuzzy re. Band 12 & VoLTE. And since the ship date for both of the new models is a little more than a week out, killing two (or three) birds with one Marshmallow certification makes some sense.

Also given that the Nexus 6 is now an old warhorse and never really sold like gangbusters for most of the carriers anyway, the incentive to be first out of the gate with an OTA has got to be fairly low.
Really? As far as I can tell, VoLTE is working perfectly well on 6.0, right off the bat. I've had the build for a few days now.

Then again, I did "dirty flash" rather than clean install

Same here, except I clean flashed the factory image. I haven't seen any problems yet with VoLTE. I flashed it the night the factory images came out and I haven't had any issues with making calls either over Wi-Fi or VoLTE.

I tested some things out yesterday on the way home... I drive through some band 12 towers (new in the past couple of weeks). On T-Mobile's network, VoLTE works on band 12....

So everything in 6.0 works, right out of the box, with T-Mobile... WFC, VoLTE, etc.

At the time I wrote my previous post, I wasn't speaking from experience, just working from claims about band 12 & VoLTE w/6.0 that I'd read on Reddit threads as well as on a few different AC threads. Now that I have flashed 6.0, I can say that WiFi Calling and VoLTE seem to be working just fine on my phone. I have yet to see band 12 make an appearance, though, and it most definitely should be there: on 5.1.1 (LYZ28M), the phone would flip between band 4 and band 12 throughout the day. For now, it seems to be band 4 or nuthin'.

Downloading mine as I am typing. Still on the fence about doing a fresh install... Had already done when I received the 5.1.1 update

If I get the OTA I'm going to install it and then do a factory reset. If the OTA doesn't arrive soon I'm going to flash the factory image.
