Why pen is not working on complete screen

I have samsung note 5 and its pen not working on screen properly. Left side seems more defective? Smart select also not working. I have case with magnet which i removed last month. What could be the reason? plz help i am not able to write om screen.

Dial *#0*# which should pop you into service mode. Here you can test screen hardware.
Personally I don't much like magnetic covers...

Maybe a replacement pen is needed. Amazon has them. I recently bought one and worked.

I have N5 VZR , some how It won't let me go to any secret mode ...`

I'm wondering if it's the digitiser.. Do other pens work on that screen? Maybe try a new pen first...

I agree - it's like portions of your screen just are not seeing the pen as it passes over - probably needs a complete new display assembly.

If the screen colours test ok, it's the digitiser, if not its the whole screen.
