Why phone lags after a reset

Should I reset it again? But it starts working good in 5 minutes

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Where do you see the lag? What do you mean that it starts working good in 5 minutes -- do you mean that it lags for the first 5 minutes after a cold start, but then works normally afterwards?
