Why samsung galaxy note 5 unresponsive for finger touch?

Recently I bought samsung galaxy note 5 and finger touch is not responsive and often get freezes. But the Spen is working. What could be the reason?

Try to power off and hold down the home button volume up button and then power button to launch recovery mode. Then go down to clear cache. Clear the cache and restart if it still not working return it if you are still in the window and the if not then send it for warranty. My GPN did this a few months ago and it was replaced under warranty.
