Why Screen turns on in Oneplus 3t in do not disturb mode after incoming call?

I have oneplus 3T device after long use with iphone. In iphone when you get call while in do not disturb mode , the screen is off and stay off after the other side hang up. In my current Op3t device right after the other side hang up , the screen turns on . It missing the point of do not disturb mode. I want to see what i have been missing only when i like to and turn on the screen by myself.

Welcome to Android Central! I think the point of Do Not Disturb is to silence the device so that ringtones or notification tones don't play -- not to keep the screen off.
