Why should I keep the Rezound?

This is a little different as I am hoping to hear just the positives. I've had my Resound for about 36 hours and I am thrown by the bulk of it. I had an Incredible before and it was smaller but it seems like all phones are getting bigger. The Rezound is nice but what makes you love it? Do you think it will get a permanent root? Ice Cream Sandwich?

Re: Why should I keep the Resound?

HTC went out and said they are working on getting ICS asap for the Rezound.

To me the phone looks puny haha, but I was using a Galaxy Note with a 5.3" screen.

I also just got my Rezound. Right now my battery seems pretty bad, but the display looks great.

Oops. My tablet keeps changing the spelling from Rezound to Resound...

Re: Why should I keep the Resound?

I wouldn't get the Rezound if you wanted a slim phone, it's way thicker than the gn or razr.

Re: Why should I keep the Resound?

best phone out there until the Nexus is officially released. simple as that.

Re: Why should I keep the Resound?

What do you guys think about ICS? I know HTC is going to give us ICS but does anyone really think it will look like stock? I suspect to have sense 4.0 clogging this thing out.

Re: Why should I keep the Resound?

I am keeping it for sure... this phone provides the best multimedia phone out on the market now... SD card is a must for me and that is what kills the galaxy nexus for me... it seems like a crippled phone

I know specs aren't everything but on paper, isn't the Rezound much better than the Nexus? Faster processor, memory, camera.

I would think the processor would make for a better ICS experience.

Hmmmm...

I looked at the galaxy, the motorola's and settled on the Rezound for my wife. To her the thin flat phones felt uncomfortable. She really likes the Rezound aside from the typical battery life woes.

I would rather have a removable battery then a super thin phone. The rezound is really not THAT thick, just it compared to the razr and the GN. The GN is made by Samsung so that right there put it out of my thought.
The rezound is a great phone that is great to look at, is very slick to me and has style.

I forgot about the removeable battery in terms of the Razr. I don't have a problem with Samsung though at least when it comes to my Tab. This is going to be such a tough choice when it comes to the Nexus. :-(

If you think the Rezound is too big, the Nexus has a 4.65 screen.

To me I did not want a Nexus, one of the big pluses for me moving from iOS was being able to add storage. That kills the Nexus for me. Plus I just don't care much for the feel of Samsung phones.

I tried the Razor, but really could not stand the way it felt - just never comfortable holding the phone. The Rezound just felt right to me.

I agree. The Rezound aunt thick at all to me. I love the way it feels. And it does have a lot of style. I like the red accents. Beats audio is also a killer feature.

Agreed and if and when they get the Beat's working with 3 party software that will be the really nice. I also like the looks and feel of the the phone. I don't care much for a phone that is really thin and light.

The nice screen and pictures taken from the 8 mp camera is enough to convince me to keep it. So far I have had no second thoughts about returning to my iPhone 4. Compared to that the Rezound is big, but feature and customizability wise the Rezound wins hands down.
