Why some of my apps (Netflix, Disney+, Deezer, etc.) don't work when connected on WiFi?

[Android Central Question]

The issue started with the latest Samsung update on my A70 (OneUI 3.1 - Android 11).

Mostly everything works fine, but only some apps will not be able to connect when I'm on WiFi, but work when I'm using mobile data.

I have factory reset my phone. It was working again, and as soon as I have applied the latest update, the issue came back.

Anyone has the same issue here?

Which apps are not working on wifi?

Try changing private dns settings in your network settings on your phone to use Google or cloudflare.

Are you using a VPN or antivirus application?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on any wi-fi network or only certain ones? If you're trying to use those apps on a supervised network like at work or school, the administrator might have set up a firewall to prevent access to certain media or gaming sites.
