Why such a big wait for 16GB White ?

On Play Store 16GB White variant delivery is 4-5 weeks out and a lot longer than the others. Why? I thought that was the least in demand out of the four.

They probably also made the least amount of that variety.

That could be it. I guess it's only trailing the 16GB Black by a week.

Probably was. Then people saw it shipped faster and it became a lot more desirable...

A better question is why is therea wait at all for any of them? After last year didn't they have an idea what demand would be like?

If it was that I think it'd be more of an equal ebb and flow of availability between the four models, but the the 16GB White is so much further out than the others that it made me think there was a disruption in supply. One of the carriers or big retailers might have put in a big order and depleted stock or as @yfan pointed Google might make the least amount of those. But still it just seems odd that the 32GB White is 1-2 days and the 16GB White is 4-5 weeks.

A better question is why is therea wait at all for any of them? After last year didn't they have an idea what demand would be like?

I think I' give Google A+++ for availability and shipping this year. Wait times are pretty reasonable. (imo).

Edit -- Unless your heart is set on the 16GB White at the moment...........
