Why there is no audio when I screen mirror?

So I have a samsung tv series7 and a xiaomi redmi note 4. I have been using screen mirroring for weeks when today it only displays the image or video no audio. I would be grateful if someone helped.

That could be either the phone or the TV. Have you installed anything new to the phone? If so, start in safe mode (long-press power button, then long-press power off, then choose safe mode - to get out of it, just restart) and see if that fixes it. If it does, it's whatever you installed.

If not, power the phone and the TV off, wait about 30 seconds, then power on the TV, then power on the phone, then see if it works.

Have you checked the volume on the device? (And the phone, too... maybe it goes to mute on its own? For some reason DTVN app, for instance, does this when casting).
