Why us the P9 nougat update taking so long?

Hi Good morning, can anyone help?

I have a huawei p9 eva-l09c432b1669c432b166.

I waited with anticipation for the end of the Q1 update to nougat to arrive... It didn't.. I called huawei and they advised that as I bought the phone from CPW they are being updated later with the first week in May being suggested... That's now passed as well. I'm getting a bit fed up with the waiting and the feeling of being fobbed off.. Is anybody else having issues with the update on phones bought at CPW? Thanks Steve

I got a p9 from cpw no update for me. However cpw phones are factory unlocked so I am sure the update should be pushed direct

Morning, I spoke to huawei back in March and they said that because my phone was purchased from CPW the update will be later.. They suggested the first week in May. We are now at the third week of May. And still no update, just seems wrong when your update is almost 2 months later than the reports suggest...

Sounds to me like they are passing the buck as cpw don't push updates. That would be down to your network. My network is ee

I tweeted huawie and they just send a link back to their website support team who to be fair replied pretty quickly saying that the update is sent out in batches. I think it could be a carrier issue as I believe they have to check it out. EE are not that quick in sending out updates.
