Why was my thread removed?

I wrote a new thread entitled Moto X Cyber Monday Scam, detailing my efforts to buy a Motorola phone using their promotion code. It appeared briefly, but now is gone, why?

The thread was removed during a mass cleanup of promotional code threads we have had as of late. There has been a huge increase in scams, i.e. selling "free" codes, giveaway " contests ", workarounds to circumvent the purpose of the code and other means which is something we rather not have or be involved in at Android Central.

Don't take this personally, we cleaned up/removed a major portion of threads over the last few days to eliminate the hassles.
