Why will Moto x pure only connect to 1 blue tooth device?

My Moto x pure can only connect to one device and then need to delete and add another device to connect to. This is not a reasonable way to operate phone with devices.

You don't have to delete anything. A phone can pair with many devices, but it can only be connected to one device at a time. That's how Bluetooth works. It has nothing to do with cellphones - Bluetooth on your desktop doesn't work any differently.
