Why will my Galaxy s5 only accept the first 3Gb of mapping from Memory map

[Android Central Question]

I want to transfer my whole of UK 1:50000 scale mapping of the UIK to my phone but when I transfer the data it results in Northern UK but nothing South of about Worcester

Welcome to Android Central! How are you transferring this data? Is it a map file? Or is this some kind of map app that wants to download data? Is the phone warning you of low storage?
