why will my galaxy s7 not connect to Ford sync?

have a galaxy s6 and it pairs to my 16 Ford 350 i even enter in the code and it accepts it brings up my phone model on sync then promptly tells me connection failed 10 times is there somethi g I'm doing wrong?
