Why will my Galaxy s7 only play music through samsung headphones and not my aux?

So I just bought my new galaxy s7 two days ago and I'm having issues with audio playing from the jack. Every time I connect my phone to an aux there is no music output but I can make calls perfectly fine from the aux. The only thing that sound will properly go through when I use the jack is the set of headphones that came along with my phone. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Mine is fine. Have you tried a different aux cable? Is this in your car I'm guessing?

Don't want to sound dumb but did you plug it in all the way? I know with my Aux I had to push it alittle harder to get it in all the way:-[ Head phones went in no prob, needed an extra click for all others. Also if you have a case on try to plug it in with out the case.

I have tried both car and speaker aux at home. I ended up calling samsung customer support and the best solution they could give was do a factory reset.

All my aux cables go in, obviously that last push is a tad bit of a push but they all go in. Haven't bought a case for it, which is priority atm.
