Android Central Question

If logging on to hotel/airport WiFi, first you have to input username and password.
Then, if using an iPad, it takes you to a further login/agree terms page, and then you are connected OK.
BUT if using an Android phone (HTC M9 for me), it doesn’t give you the second login page - it just says you are connected, but you aren’t, nothing happens.
And it seems impossible to force it to give you that second login page.

Most times if you open the web browser and hit the little house to go Google.com or try to open any new web page the agreement will pop up. I thought there was an app for this, or at least I thought I remembered hearing about one, but I was unable to find quickly. What I was able to find were these tips in this article... https://zapier.com/blog/open-wifi-login-page/

Welcome to Android Central! In my experience, it can vary between devices. I agree with VidJunky about trying the browser trick. Another thing you can try is go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, and look for CaptivePortalLogin. If you find it, clear its cache/data, and then try logging into the wi-fi again.
