Why won't Google play accept my credit card number?

Google play won't accept my credit card number

I am trying to add a credit card for Google Play, however it says that my credit card number is incorrect even though it is not. I have checked and re-entered the number many times and if me and my husband are not completely dyslexic the credit card number should be correct. I live in Finland and use Visa Electron and I have not had any problems with other payments.
