Why won't google play store work for me?

Ok so i had this problem about 3 months ago and it's starting to get annoying, so my problem is that everytime i use an app it pop ups saying google play store has stopped working... Even when I'm not doing anything on my phone. And i can't even go to google play store and download apps or get updates! Pls help. I use an lg g stylo.

Welcome to Android Central! When you go to Settings>Apps>Google Play Store, then tap Storage. Clear Cache/Data is there.
