Why won't my Galaxy S5 turn on or accept a charge?

[AC Question]

My Galaxy S5 won't turn on or accept a charge.

My battery drained to 0% last night. I plugged it in when I got home but nothing came on the screen nor did any lights. I charged the battery on an external charger to 100%, then tried to turn on my phone. Nothing. I tried the hard reset (30+ seconds oh holding power, home, and volume. I still got nothing.

Welcome to Android Central! No vibration either when trying to power on? It's possible that the Power button is faulty, or worse yet, the motherboard. Contact a Samsung service center for warranty repair. You could also bring it to a Best Buy with a Samsung Store in it, and ask the rep if they can help.

Thank you for your response. It has done this before however I was able to do the restart. This time was not the case.

Have you tried removing/changing the battery?
