Why won't my Galaxy S6 open emailed pdf files?

galaxy s6 won't open emailed pdf files

Hi my s6 won't fully download emails with pdf file att. I've hit the load more button but when you try to open it comes up with warning email must be fully downloaded before att can be read .the emails can be read from my pc? ?

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you long-press the PDF attachment? Do you get an option to download/save it?

Also, in the Email app, tap Menu>Settings, select your email account, and look for an option to automatically download attachments.

Go to you mail settings.
Change Limit Retrieval Size to 'No Limit' or size you prefer.
This is probably being done to protect you storage/data consumption.
However that is restricting the file from downloading correctly.
If you check the file size of the downloaded file it is 0 bytes.
When you change the limit you should be able to download the file and it should open properly.
