Why won't my Google Play games work?

Hi,

I'm using a Galaxy S5 SM-G900F and was having the same problem as you. I went into Settings / About Device / Software Updates and installed the latest and it's working now. Note: this is the updates to OS / System (whatever you call it) rather than updates you install through the play store - it was a problem with the phone rather than with the app (or at least was solved by upgrading the phone rather than the app...)

Just a heads up in case that can solve your problems as well.

I tried to get a software update for my phone, but it said that no updates were available. I am returning my phone today. Does anyone know if all model M's have this problem, or is it specific to only a few?

I have sm-g900m and mine wont work either bought her from btc in the bahamas and have two freinds same thing we believe it a samsung isue

I'v tryed everything only thing worked was to root the phone and put cyanogen mod 12 I completely strip her of Samsung software and now running cyanogen best she ever ran free up loads of space runs everything flawless going to tell friends about it i'v had Galaxy s5 since she came out she never ran as good as she is running now just a option

Hey guys i been having he same problem with my S5 but recently I downloaded Final Fantasy Record keeper and been playing for two days now. I tapped on the google play icon in the home Screen and it allowed me to sign in to Google play to save my progress. Then out of no where the Google play started to work just fine, i finally got access to my save games and clash of clans. Hope this helps i dont if it work with any other games but it work for me.

I have two accounts for my clash of clans at one device. After the new update, it asked me to create a play store account. I've made an account there for one for one gmail and now i can't access to my other account. I tried to clear play games app cache and also clash of clans game app cache but still not working. If anyone can help me what to do. I'm feeling myself useless.

I have an having the exact same problem, I've done everything, including restoring my phone (which is a Motorola moto x first generation) to factory default. I'm probably gonna cry myself to sleep tonight if I don't find a solution because I've been trying to fix it for the past 6 hours

Update the google play services on your phone and try to update the play store too .
