Why won't my GS4 update?

Why won't my Samsung Galaxy s4 sgh-i337 update to 5.0.1. It's still at 4.4.2. Even though i check for updates everyday. And I can't manually update it because it requires a SD card which I don't have

Welcome to Android Central! Are you still on the AT&T network? Carrier-specific phones usually have to be on that carrier's network in order to receive the official update.

Have you tried using Samsung Kies or Smart Switch?

Yes I am Still on At&t network. Also I have tried using Kies and smart switch, but they still say my software is up to date

It says transfer the unzipped file to your phones SD card which I don't have.

I'm sorry, I missed tat, you did mention it in Yorkshire opening post. You could try taking it to a Best Buy

I forgot to unzip the file. I ended up just flashing my phone. I guess I missed out some info. Will do just that and get back to you.
