Why won't my Phone connect to the charger?

I bought a new charger and it worked great at first.. Now I have to jiggle, maneuver , make offerings to the Gods and hope the Planets are in alignment to get the port and charger to connect.. Any answers for me?

Cheap cable or bad connector on your phone.

You'll need to try another cable in order to determine which is at fault.

If you need a durable cable I'd recommend a USB extension and a Nokia cable that's a few inches long (hence the extension). They're grey in colour and ive never had one break on me.
