Why won't my phone show up on my computer when plugged in via usb?

My phone won't show up on my computer when plugged in via usb

I got this new phone, Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, two days ago. When I plugged it into the first time I got the phone it worked perfectly fine, the folder appeared on my computer. But now when I plug it in nothing shows up on my computer screen even though my phone still charges. How can I fix this? Do I need to download a software?

Is your device unlocked while you are connecting your device with the PC ?? If not then unlock the device first and then try connecting it again also if that doesn't helps then try restarting your device and see if that makes any difference !

Yep I've tried both of that, still doesn't work
