Android Central Question

My dad recently took out my old battery, which was the worst battery in the world, and replaced it with a brand new battery. The phone works fine now, he watched a YouTube video to open it up and replace battery. But every time my phone dies, everything is fine. So i plug it in, but the phone doesn't turn on or tell me its charging. it stays back. i hold down the button, but it doesn't work. my dad had to open it and do something inside to fix it last time this happens. what is going on?

maybe it's broken?

had your dad to remove the screen for replacing the battery? maybe the screen died during the process or maybe he forgot something to plug back in.

What phone do you have?

Does it have a removable battery or is it supposed to be permanent (not meant to be removed easily)?

If your battery was removable and he put a new one in it should be fine but if it's not and he did it anyways he might have messed something Up
