Why wont my phone update?

[Android Central Question]

My Note 9 from AT&T has not been able to update. Whenever I prompt, it says that my software is up to date but my security patch is from July 01, 2018.

December is out, going to download that one. What's my next step?

Once it's download , extract it , then load the files into Odin , put the phone in download mode which will be a teal color screen that says don't turn off target, make sure your phone is connected to computer USB slot as a verification will indicate com** in Odin then hit start

Your welcome , it's faster download if you join but it's not free otherwise it take longer with free

Yes, it says your download will be available ...and it counts down but never actually downloads.

Try refresh the page and try again , hows your internet?
