Why won't my recorded videos play?

[AC Question]

recorded videos won't play

Basically guys, when I record or download a video. It won't play, I use the stock video player on the s5. I have to keep pressing play to get it to play and to get 1 second into a video I have to tap play about 8 or 9 times therefor cannot watch the video. Any help appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are the videos saving to Internal Storage or the microSD card? If the latter, the card might be corrupt or defective--try a different card, or try saving to Internal Storage.
