My Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-19505 won't turn on

My S4 was working fine then shut down for some reason with 65% battery wouldn't turn on after pressing power button. Took out battery left for a minute pushed power button while battery was out to discharge put battery back in. Phone turned on but shut down again. took out battery and repeated procedure this time when battery was inserted phone vibrated and showed Samsung Galaxy S4 GT - 19505 on but then gives black screen. when power button is pressed nothing shows on screen. Have left phone on charge but nothing showing have also plugged phone into desktop pc and phone doesn't come up on computer. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! My guess is that the battery failed. Try a new one, or borrow someone else's to test out.

It might be a hardware problem then. It could be something as minor as a faulty Power button, or as major as a failing motherboard. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop to find out.

I had the same problem. The culprit is that the power button is stucked at the 'pressed' all the time. So it will turn on and turn off after a few secs.

Here's the link for trouble shoot and solutions in changing the power button. You might need to spend some time and a voltmeter.
