why wont my samsung galaxy tab 4 charge

I have my tab from last year September. And about Monday 20 April 2015 my tablet wont charge. I have let my tab charge over night and when I got up and unplugged my tab it did not charge at all. The screen won't come one and when it does it starts to blink and shut down again. Please help. I don't have money to take it to the store to fix it. And the tab is on contact. So please help

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like the battery might be failing or defective. If you got the device in September, then it should still be under warranty. Contact Samsung for warranty repair (or contact your carrier first, to see if they can handle it).

It could also be a bad connection on the charging port (which would also be covered under the warranty).
